The town of Byala is situated in the foot of Stara Planina (the Balkan) mountain which gives the name of whole Balkan Peninsula. The region is quiet, ecologically clean, suitable for all-year round living. Close to Byala are situated historical places like “Belite Skali” (“The White Rocks”), the medevial fortress Kozyak, cape Emine where Stara Planina reaches the sea and cape “St Atanas”. Byala is a pleasant sea resort with wide beaches, a lot of holiday homes and a beautiful water slide. This little sea paradise offers a lot of things to see and do. Small yacht port is now being constructed on the coast. It will provide opportunities for small ships and yachts to land on the beautiful coast of Byala. Another coastal town is situated in proximity to Byala and this is Obzor. The distance to there is only 7 km. The distance to the ancient town as well as beach resort Nessebar is 45 km which is 30 minutes driving.
